I recorded this song in 2023 and I’ve finally managed to mix and master it! Besides my vocals I also used VST instruments for arrangement; piano, violins, cello and a choir pad.
For the video I’ve edited together clips of Indian culture and people.

New romantic summer poem set to music!
“Summer” is a poem by the British Romantic poet John Clare (1793 – 1864).
The arrangement for this song is very simple; I recorded my vocals, the guitar and birdsong with a microphone and then I added a midi choir as background ambiance. The plan was to release this song last summer but I struggled to mix and master it back then. I think my music production skills have improved since!
The artwork for this song is a painting of a dog rose. In Victorian flower language a dog rose symbolizes “pleasure and pain”.

To my dear and future husband…
I don’t know if you exist but if you do, I hope I will love you as much as Anne loved her husband.
“To My Dear and Loving Husband” is a famous love poem by Anne Bradstreet (1612-1672) where she declares her undying love and gratitude for her husband. Their love were still going strong even after 8 kids!
The flower in this picture is an ivy-leaved toadflax. In Victorian flower ivy symbolizes fidelity and marriage.

New speed painting!
"She Walks in Beauty” might be Lord Byron’s must loved poem. It celebrates a woman as beautiful as a starry night sky and is believed to be inspired by the wife of Byron’s cousin.
For the song’s cover art I’ve chosen to paint a purple morning glory. In flower symbolism a morning glory means “affection”.

New Romantic Poem Set To Music!
"She Walks In Beauty" is a famous love poem by Lord Byron and celebrates the inner and outer beauty of a woman.
I wrote and produced this song for a music production class two years ago and I've finally released it after some remixing and mastering.
The arrangement for this song might be simple but I spent a lot of time trying to figure it out how to do it. I wanted to creaty a dreamlike, romantic feeling so I used a lot of strings and background vocals.
The tracks that were recorded with a microphone are the main vocals, the background vocals and the guitar. The violins, cello and celeste are VST instruments (BBC orchestra by Spitfire and Dream Machine by Toontrack).
This is what the mix looks like in my DAW (Reaper).

New speed painting portrait!
It’s a portrait of my favorite poets, the American lyric poet Sara Teasdale (1884 – 1933). There are only black and white photographs of Sara so I wanted to create a portrait that would match her vibrant and passionate poetry. I don’t know if I got the hair- and eyecolor right.

New poem set to music!
The famous love poem “Bright Star” by John Keats. I uploaded a video of me playing this song on a small guitar a couple months ago, but this is the official version where I’ve recorded the instrument and vocals separately.
For the album art I chose to illustrate a globe amaranth, which in Victorian flower language symbolizes immortality and unfading love. Even though John Keats died before he could marry his muse Fanny Brawne his love for her lives on through his poetry and love letters.

New music video is up!
I released this song “Looking For America” back in 2020 and I finally made a lyric video for it. The song is inspired by The American Dream so with the music video I used whatever clips I could find of epic American nature, cities and culture. And just like the speaker in this song, I’ve never been to America. If I would ever go there I’m thinking that it would be pretty nice to stroll around Central Park in New York and see the Red Rock in Nevada. What place in America would you like to visit?

New video of me singing and painting William Shakespeare’s poem “Under The Greenwood Tree” is up! I released this song as a single last year and I already made lyric video for it.
Recently I came across this vintage tree illustration by Pierre-Joseph Redouté (1759–1840) and it made me think about this poem. I could picture this peaceful and romantic scene of someone reading under the tree. So I thought I would try to paint a lady reading into this illustration.
The regency lady’s hair and dress is inspired by Jennifer Ehle’s portrayal of Elizabeth Bennet in the tv series and period drama Pride and Prejudice from 1995. What’s your favourite Pride and Predjudice adaptation?
