Fossil hunter Brandon Lennon, films fossils along the Jurassic Coast. It’s a geologist’s dream to live and work in a place where the earth’s history is being revealed by the sea everyday. I am a fossil walk guide based at Lyme Regis and take out daily tours at low tide. I go out fossil collecting in conjunction with safe tides as the cliffs are dangerous and liable to fall suddenly and without warning.I film landslides and extraordinary weather events. I show you the local areas of outstanding natural beauty on films i have created for YouTube. The Jurassic Coast is a World Heritage Site on the English Channel Coast of Southern England.Lyme Regis is renowned for its ammonites,belemnites ,Ichthyosaurs. It’s also know for one particular dinosaur found here called Scelidosaur sp. of which I have found one large chunk.Mary Anning(1799-1847) was the famous fossil hunting lady of Lyme Regis. We hope that , by joining our fossil walk, some of you may be inspired to follow in Mary’s footsteps
