So after 639 days my deadlift everyday journey has come to an end. While I still absolutely love deadlifting, the joy of doing it every single day has slowly been fading away and eventually made me decide to stop the journey here.
This does not mean that I will stop training or posting videos. I will take a short break from posting on YouTube but eventually I’ll be back posting videos again.
I also want to start competing in powerlifting again so it might be fun to document my work up to the competition on here.
In any case I want to thank everyone who supported the journey and you will see me back soon.
What’s up guys, we are on day 288 of deadlift everyday now and I thought I’d give you a little insight into how you can set up your training if you also want to deadlift every day.
Day 1: Conventional deadlift with belt - work up to heavy single (RPE 8-9) Day 2: Conventional deadlift with a double overhand grip, no belt - work up to heavy single (RPE 8-9) Day 3: Trap bar deadlift with belt - work up to heavy single (RPE 8-9) Day 4: Paused deadlift with 5 second pause, no belt - work up to heavy single (RPE 8-9) Day 5: Block Pull below knee with belt - work up to heavy single (RPE 8-9) Day 6: Conventional deadlift with fat grips - work up to heavy single (RPE 8-9) Day 7: Deficit trap bar deadlift with belt - work up to heavy single (RPE 8-9)
As you can see you alternate between deadlift variations that can be loaded heavy and deadlift variations that can’t be loaded very heavy. Setting up your training in this manner successfully manages load and fatigue, making you able to progress while deadlifting every single day.
I’ve passed the 100 days of deadlifting everyday now and gained quite some subscribers over those 100+ days. I’m very thankful for that but I want to keep things interesting for the viewers. So what I’d like to ask you is, what kind of topics do you want to see covered in my upcoming videos? My videos relating to steroid free lifting seem to be popular but I can imagine there is more you want to hear about, so let me know.
I recently did a video about how big you can get as a steroid free lifter so in case you missed that you can check it out here:
