Tilak Ganesh Mandal, Vansda is named after Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak. His innovation was to shift the celebration of Ganeshotsav from private homes to public spaces and nations people awakening at Pune In 1893 to fight with British rule.more reason to this name is also a hindu symbol Tilak. A mark, generally made on the forehead, indicating a person’s sectarian affiliation. This gave a big popularity and height to this Ganesh Mandal.
