Prawn 65
Ingredients:
500g prawns (cleaned and deveined)
½ tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
½ tbsp coriander powder
2 tbsp gram flour (besan)
1 tbsp rice flour
A few curry leaves
Salt to taste
Juice of half a lemon
Water (as needed for mixing)
Oil (for deep frying)
Method:
1. Clean and devein the prawns thoroughly.
2. In a bowl, combine the prawns with ginger garlic paste, salt, chilli powder, coriander powder, gram flour, rice flour, curry leaves, and lemon juice.
3. Sprinkle a little water and mix everything well to ensure the prawns are evenly coated.
4. Let the marinated prawns rest for 15 minutes.
5. Heat oil in a kadai (deep frying pan) over medium-high heat.
6. Deep fry the prawns in batches ,cook it for 3 to 4 min (because I’m using large size prawns otherwise 2 to 3 min enough ). Fry until they turn crispy and golden brown.
7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
8. Serve hot, and enjoy with your family!
