This divine story from Kanchipuram tells a rare moment in bhakti – when Lord Vishnu rose, left His sacred temple and walked out of the city for the sake of His devotee. Thirumazhisai Azhwar and Kanikannan stand before Yatotkari Perumal, who listens, obeys, and follows them. Because of this, the Lord of Kanchipuram is lovingly called Sonna Vannam Seitha Perumal – “the Perumal who did exactly as He was told.” In this quiet 2‑minute Sthala Puranam, we reflect on devotion that can make even God “move”, and a Perumal who shows that true bhakti is never ignored. Verse : Alwar commands Lord Vishnu to leave with him Alwar commands Lord Vishnu to return back to Kanchipuram
