Happy Earth Day!!! 🌎 One way☝️to reduce food waste in your kitchen is to repurpose your Parmesan rinds (the part with the waxy ends). Never throw them out!Save them all! They’re great sources of umami and can add so much flavor to sauces and stocks 😋
For this spaghetti dish, I made a tomato sauce with fresh tomatoes, canned marzano tomatoes,✌️2 Parmesan rinds, garlic, thyme, bay leaves, salt, sugar, black pepper, mushrooms & a squeeze of tomato paste. Simmer for 30-45 mins (or more) and serve over spaghetti! 🍝
