As Jesus went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
Jesus answered; “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” — John 9:1-5
In a season as this, where the people of God are eagerly crying out for God to take away our pain, our torn, our suffering, our tribulations, God’s word for us is to keep trusting and to keep moving on in faith, to keep doing the work He has called us to do, in truth and hope, in brokenness and in joy, with good conscience and heart.
What we maybe going through is all to be used for His purpose, His kingdom and for our good. We should be reminded of His love for us and how nothing really can separate us from the love He has for us. He is reminding us that our sufficiency is of Him and in Him.
We are also being reminded to not separate ourselves from the opportunity to be a blessing to people who are lacking in the very areas where we are struggling. Most times, the only way out of that trial or tribulation or pain is to put the purpose of God above the pain / trial / tribulation and be a blessing to the people who are going through the very thing you are going through. Pray for them, speak for them, teach them, make them disciples of Christ and help each other to grow in our walk with Christ.
This piece is to express my hope and joy in God.
Though I do not know where He is going with me and I do not yet understand His will for me, I will rejoice in my weakness and I will let Him lead me - Isaiah 30:21
