🧩 According to neuroscience, when you do a jigsaw puzzle, you enter a "flow state." It's that state of sustained attention, in which you're totally immersed in the experience; your mind is so focused that you're not thinking about anything else.
In that state, cortisol levels drop, the amygdala calms down, and you magically relax without even realizing it. I discovered this during perimenopause, when my body was in total chaos, and it was a lifeline during that stage, which is why I want to share it with you.
