The devil's whispers, so cleverly disguised as promises of power and fulfillment, reveal the insidious nature of temptation. You faced the enemy head-on, not with your own power but with the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. Arm me with your spiritual armor: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
