Theodosia Burr's grave has never been found. There are several theories about her disappearance, but no definitive answer. One popular theory is that she was lost at sea when the ship she was traveling on, the Patriot, disappeared in 1813. However, there have been other accounts and supposed sightings that suggest she may have survived the shipwreck. Another theory is that she is buried in an unmarked grave in North Carolina.
