Bougainvillea Lemonade @peepalfarmproducts Ingredients 2 cups Fresh bougainvillea flower Citrus Juice (lemon/lime/orange) Stevia drops / other sweetener Chia seeds (soaked) Mint Leaves Ice Cubes 1 cup water, enough to cover the flowers Instructions Dry bougainvillea flowers in shade so they don't burn and retain the beautiful color. Heat up water in a pot and add the dried flowers. Cover the pot and turn the heat to the lowest. Let the flowers infuse in the water for about 7 minutes on low heat. Add lemon juice in a glass, mint, sweetener, ice cubes, and infused water to make a beautiful summer drink. Enjoy! Tips: Remove the white thin flowers if you like. Some people find its taste bitter but since I used dried the flowers before using, I did not taste any bitterness.
