This is a close up of our RF induction rocket engine experiment.
We are inducting radio energy into the core of a hybrid rocket engine.
This adds energy to the ionized internal gases
It increases the performance of the magnet acceleration of the exhaust that happens in the MagnetoHydroDynamic system that will surround the core. We’ve done three hot firing tests so far. We expect to do about 100 to get it tuned just right. This engine will go into our H1 Orbital Airship.
