That's how " #Sheikhelbalad " got his name, and it stuck for over 160 years. This isn't a god. It isn't a pharaoh. It's a wooden portrait of an ordinary high official named Ka-Aper, carved with such startling realism that his inlaid eyes still seem to follow you across the room.
