July 10 marks the 40th anniversary of the bombing of the Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior. A team of French secret service agents detonated two limpet bombs while the ship was in Auckland Harbour, killing crew member Fernando Pereira and irreparably damaging the Rainbow Warrior.
