There's a dizzying array of different cylinder heads you can run on a Ford flathead V8 engine, including plenty of great aftermarket specimens cast from weight-saving aluminum. But if you're building a fairly mild engine or don't want to spend the money on new heads for your later-model V8, look for a set of these instead. They should just about provide the highest compression ratio of any cylinder head Ford offered from the factory.
