March 10, 2025: Monday of the First Week of Lent
Behold, now is a very acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
Whatsoever You Do to the Least of My Brothers You Do unto Me
Gospel | Matthew 25:31-46
🙏
"Lord Jesus,
You are telling me today to wake up to the needs of others. You're disguised as the desperate refugee; as the beggar rattling coins in a paper cup on the street; as the abandoned or exploited child; as the unemployed father or mother who's afraid to go home with nothing to feed his or her family; as the depressed friend whom no one visits.
Grant me the grace to realize that I bump into You each day when I encounter the poor and the exploited of this world. Give me the insight to identify myself with the least of all so that by doing so, I will be serving You by serving those who are in most need. Help me to give them dignity in as much as I give dignity to myself. Amen."
