Before leaving the Anza-Borrego area, we had to stop by to see what the last two days of rain did for the flower fields. Just wow.
What a beautiful way to start a new year, greeted by cheerful yellow Desert Sunflower, soft and delicate white Dune Evening Primrose, and the rich purple of Desert Sand Verbena. Not to mention those beautiful, low clouds hanging low over the Coyote Peak and the Santa Rosa Mountains in the background.
