फूलदेई उत्तराखंड का एक विशेष त्यौहार है, जिसे बच्चो का त्यौहार कहा जाता है...इसमें बच्चे दुसरो के घर की देहली में फूल फेकते है और घर वाले बदले में उनको अनाज, गुड़ और चावल आदि चीजे देते है. फूलदेई (Phool Dei) चैत्र संक्रांति के दिन मनाया जाता है क्योंकि हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार चैत्र मास ही हिंदू नववर्ष का पहला महीना होता है. इस त्योहार को खासतौर से बच्चे मनाते हैं और घर की देहरी पर बैठकर लोकगीत गाने के साथ ही घर-घर जाकर फूल बरसाते हैं. इस वर्ष 15 मार्च के दिन फूलदेई का पर्व मनाया जाएगा. The festival of Phool Dei is celebrated in the Garhwal and Kumaun regions of Uttarakhand every year in the flowering season (March-April) for about a month. Residents of each house give them money with the belief that they will get prosperity and good luck in return. The children are also offered delicacies such as rice powder papdi and pudding made of flour and jaggery. The festival also symbolises peace and harmony among the communities.
