Today, at an estate sale in a warehouse, I came across a super cool trio of vintage Italian car horns. I ended up getting these for a really good price. Before I ran home to see if I could get them working.. I stumbled across a few other finds.
Right next to the car horns was a rare S labeled cap Studebaker car cap that I couldn't pass up. You'll be shocked to learn what those go for on eBay.
When I first got into the sale I went straight for the vintage posters you see in the video short. they were quite amazing! I wanted to buy them so bad. Vintage Pink Floyd posters. Bright, psychedelic posters with felt on them. But, when I was able to get someone to help me with them...I discovered that they were priced way too expensive for me to make any money off of. I'm not a collector. I'm a reseller. Getting a deal is important.
Luckily the car parts were sort of overlooked by the people at the sale and I ended up getting a great price on the Studebaker cap and the Italian car horns. Steal of the day!
So, I ran home and started the adventure of trying to figure out how to make those horns come back to life! I had to make a trip to Home Depot and buy all the necessary things. I ended up hooking the horns up to a 12-volt battery and had to do some wiring to make it happen. It was a hilarious and kind of dangerous adventure.
Subscribe to see the next video where I give you a more in-depth look at what it took to get the car horns working. There are some hilarious moments where I almost shock myself. I scared myself a few times with the horns. They are so loud!
