In our home, we carved out a few intentional hours — a Tradition Sprint — to prepare for Eid. We baked Dabokolo, a nostalgic Ethiopian snack, and made cookies with the kids. While the treats cooled, we decorated. Simple, planned, and full of meaning.
I didn’t grow up with a written recipe — just memories of watching my aunt prepare this snack before every Eid. Now, I intentionally pass that feeling on to my children.
