Proverbs Chapter 18
1. A loner seeks his desire alone, and with all wisdom seeks and intervenes.
2. Fools do not delight in wisdom, but in displaying their thoughts.
3. When the wicked come, contempt follows; when shame comes, insults follow.
4. The words of the mouth are like deep waters; the fountains of wisdom are like flowing streams.
5. It is not good to show favor to the wicked or to overthrow the case of the righteous.
6. A fool opens his mouth to start a quarrel; his opening of his mouth invites a slap.
7 The mouth of a fool is his own destruction; his lips are a snare to his soul.
8 The words of a gossip are like wounds, penetrating deep into the heart.
9 The one who is lazy in his work is a brother to a spendthrift.
10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.
11 The rich are their fortified city, a high wall in their hearts.
12 Pride precedes ruin, but humility precedes honor.
13 He who answers before he has finished listening is foolish and dishonorable.
14 The heart can endure sickness, but who can bear a wounded soul?
15 The heart of the wise gains knowledge; the ear of the intelligent seeks knowledge.
16 Gifts make a way for a person and lead him to the presence of those in high positions.
17 The one who first presents the cause may seem reasonable; but when the neighbor comes, he finds out the truth.
18 The lot can stop a quarrel and break up a victorious one.
19 It is harder to reconcile a brother with a grudge than to take a fortified city; such quarrels are like the bolts of a stronghold.
20 The fruit of the mouth will fill the belly; the guise of the lips will satisfy the body.
21 Life and death are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit.
22 He who finds a good wife has found a good thing and obtained favor from the Lord.
23 The poor plead, but the rich answer with threats.
24 A man that has friends must show himself friendly; but there is one friend closer than a brother.

Share the Gospel with those who haven't yet believed in Jesus. The Gospel is:
Jesus is the only begotten Son of the eternal God, God himself. He came to earth, suffered the crucifixion, died, and rose again after three days.
He paid the price for the sins of the world so that those who believe in Him may have their sins forgiven and receive eternal life.
The Kingdom of God is near; repent!
So what can you do now that you've heard the Gospel? First, believe in the Lord Jesus. The Bible says that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Second, buy a Bible and read it from beginning to end, word by word, to understand the Scriptures. Currently, I recommend buying the KJV English Bible. You can refer to the website to read both Chinese and English versions and find the purpose for which our Heavenly Father created us. Third, continue to pray and seek God's help to understand the Bible, salvation, and increase your faith. Everything you need to know after being born again is recorded in the Bible. Reject all those abominable idols, repent of your evil deeds, and then be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ—that is, immerse yourself in water. The Bible says that those who believe and are baptized will be saved, and salvation is the result of continued faith.
Romans 10: “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” The Bible says, "Everyone who believes in him will never be put to shame."
So how can you come to believe in God and Jesus? The Bible says: "Therefore faith comes by hearing the word, and hearing the word comes by the word of God."
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Therefore you must continue to read and examine the Bible carefully, for it is the Bible that bears witness about Jesus.
Matthew 19:1-20: Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Go then and teach the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Amen.”
