This is a true story of the incredible courage of a young partisan, Albina Mali-Hočevar. At 16, she went to war, and by 17 her body was already riddled with shrapnel after being wounded twice. Just three days after her 18th birthday, a mine almost took her life again. But instead of leaving the front, she continued saving others as a nurse, pulling the wounded out from under fire and risking herself every single day. Albina survived the horrors of World War II and lived to the age of 75, remaining a symbol of resilience and true bravery. This story reminds us of the price of peace and why the deeds of such people must never be forgotten.
