This is a confession-style archive from someone who was doing the work while still inside the work. In this raw 2023 archive, I share my personal POV about shadow work, my early awakening, and how I tried to face, process, and move through one of the most painful inner seasons of my life. At the time, I was still processing pain, survival, inner child wounds, self-forgiveness, ego transformation, spiritual confusion, and the difference between spiritual aesthetics and real inner work. I am sharing this not because it is polished, but because it shows where The First Light™ began. This was before the system had names. Before the frameworks had structure. Before the language became cleaner. But the raw foundation was already there: self-honesty, inner work, ego transformation, self-forgiveness, accountability, and the refusal to turn shadow work into an aesthetic performance. The First Light™ is the inner light that was born from facing the shadow. The Lantern Path™ came later as the path, structure, and guiding framework that helps carry, protect, and illuminate that light for others.
