Six failed to enter the tower to save her friend Mono. Then, Shadow Six convinced her to find a new Mono in that timeline to use him as a key to release the old Mono. Six and the new Mono reunited in the Wilderness, and their journey started by repeating everything they did in the previous timeline. Chapter 2 Summary: Six and Mono have finally arrived at the Pale City. After Mono's encounter with the first TV, he regains his old memories. The return of Mono's memories leads him to become doubtful of Six. This doubt causes an argument between Mono and Six, straining their relationship until Six finally reveals the big truth. Chapter 3 Summary: Six recounts her backstory in The Maw at Mono's request. Six and Seven (Runaway Kid) journeyed together to The Maw and parted ways before the tragic incident with the nome-eating. Chapter 4 Summary: Mono and Six are unable to open the Signal Tower door with Mono's current power, so they are forced to follow the canon storyline again. Additionally, Mono realizes that Six is dangerous, so he decides to entrap her by luring another kid to join their group through the hospital and build "humanity" on her. Chapter 5 Summary: Mono is determined to sacrifice himself for his older self, from Six's timeline. What could go wrong after the "old" Mono meets his old friend, Six, who betrayed him? They both need to face their fears to continue their journey. Chapter 6 Summary: Six, Mono, and Shadow Six discover the former flesh-wall monster transforming into a walking flesh creature roaming the Pale City. With the help of their friends, they are fighting to escape from the "dream world" if it exists.
