Comments like "What class are you from Rebox School?" or "Thank you for your hard work, Psychological Warfare Unit," posted in response to differing opinions, are also bittersweet memes created by a political sphere that lacks self-regulation. Another comment team was spotted during the recent June 3rd election. Upon receiving news that a comment and social media campaign was being planned within the camp of Seoul Mayoral candidate Oh Se-hoon, Newstapa visited the site and was able to capture the voices of camp and party officials encouraging comment activities. The method of disseminating content—where someone creates slanderous content about the opposing candidate and spreads it through chat rooms where supporters gather—was no different from the problematic comment teams of the past.
