RFK Jr., President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet pick for the US Secretary of Health and Human Services, is spearheading the effort to remove fluoride from public water supplies- labeling fluoride as a contributor to lower IQ and mental deficiencies in children. Advocates of the practice praise its benefits for preventing dental decay, and the CDC named water fluoridation among the top ten public health achievements of the 20th century. What does the science say? This video will review the peer-reviewed studies, government reports, and scientific literature to provide you with the most comprehensive, unbiased look at exactly how fluoride prevents dental decay, how too much fluoride causes diagnosable health conditions, and the current scientific findings regarding fluoride and IQ.
