At this point even hoping that Jisoo will get equal lines or screen time in the comeback feels like asking for something impossible i literally listened to the album and watched the MV already knowing i would be disappointed… and of course YG proved me right again she barely gets any lines in song after song like Seriously? not even a proper bridge part with Rosé that went to Jennie instead and half the time she wasn’t even given her own lyrics she was just repeating what others were singing No special moments, no special focus… just scraps
I’m going to be honest I don’t care if people call it dramatic but it genuinely hurt to watch It felt like she was barely even there like she was fading into the background of her own group And what makes it worse is how quiet everyone stays about it If this happened to another member people would be screaming everywhere but because it’s Jisoo suddenly it’s “normal”? It shouldn’t be like this
And before anyone twists this it's isn’t hate toward the other girls in BLACKPINK. They didn’t choose this and i understand the problem isn’t them the problem is how she keeps getting sidelined everytime and what hurts even more is the thought that this could be one of their last group projects together and she still wasn’t allowed to fully shine That’s devastating as a fan I don’t even want to watch the choreography because I already know she’ll probably be pushed to the back like always and again i'm telling i don't hate anyother member for this i just want to see her more in the MV and let her be happy i love their deadline album because as a true fan who's benn waiting for 4 years this is the best thing ever but i also hate it in a way that things were not fair with jisoo
I adore all the members truly But sometimes I just want to see Jisoo front and center Sometimes I want to hear her voice carry a song Sometimes I want her to have her own unforgettable moment
Is that really too much to ask?
