Whisky; we love it. We're the home of whisky investment and rare whisky collecting on YouTube. While you might find whisky reviews and whisky tasting notes being made on other channels - you will not find that here.
We produce in depth and detailed histories of iconic and premium bottles. From incredible modern Macallan releases to historic 20th century bottles, we appreciate whisky as being more than just a drink. It's about the history, the heritage, the investment potential and the fun of chasing bottles for your collection.
The advice we offer on cask investment is second to none. We are the pioneers of the advice regarding delivery orders and the importance of taking ownership of the casks you buy. This was later picked up by Forbes, Cask and Still Magazine and many others.
So if you are interested in learning about the old, rare and collectable whisky market this is the place for you!

Sustainability in whisky is a hot topic, especially for Gen Z and Millennials. But what's the real cost of going green, both for distilleries and consumers?
In my latest article, I explore this question with insights from Annabel Thomas (founder of Nc'nean Distillery) and Vikram Damodaran (Chief Innovation Officer at DIAGEO India).
From organic barley to water conservation, distilleries are making impressive strides. But these eco-friendly practices often come with a hefty price tag.
Is sustainability becoming a luxury feature? How can we make green choices accessible to all whisky lovers?

Strato Whiskey is an interesting blend of gimmick and scientific exploration. While sending a whisky cask to the edge of space may sound like pure marketing, the experiment highlights how extreme environmental conditions—like temperature fluctuations and ultraviolet exposure—can impact the maturation process.
It’s a reminder that innovation often requires creative risk-taking, even in industries rooted in tradition. Whether or not space-aged whisky becomes a trend, this project shows that passion-driven experiments can lead to genuine insights and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Read all about this amazing project in my latest Forbes article.

The Glendronach has a new look! In my latest Forbes article, I explore The Glendronach’s visual refresh, alongside their recent collaboration with the acclaimed photographer Rankin, whom I had the pleasure of interviewing for the article.
Known for his powerful portraits, including those of the late Queen of England, Rankin brought his unique vision to this project, which features a Spanish Flamenco dancer to highlight the Scottish and Spanish fusion at the heart of The Glendronach’s character.
Despite the new aesthetic, the whisky remains unchanged, preserving its beloved flavor profile. This relaunch, with the tagline "Raise Expectations," aims to broaden the appeal and reach of The Glendronach.

Looking to make your weekend a little more special? Head to Tesco! They have Eagle Rare 10 Year Old on offer for £30 a bottle which is insanely good value.
Introduced in the mid-1970s as a luxury product during a downturn in whiskey demand, it was Charles L. Beam's vision at the Seagram’s Four Roses Distillery that set the stage for its acclaim.
With a 10-year aging process and a rich, historical context that positioned it against big names like Wild Turkey, Eagle Rare was crafted to offer a premium experience without the premium price, a legacy that continues to resonate in the bourbon community today.
Produced at the renowned Buffalo Trace Distillery, Eagle Rare benefits from a secret, low-rye mash bill and maturation in heavily charred virgin American oak barrels.
So head to Tesco to pick up a bottle and learn more about the whiskey here: lnkd.in/eVCeDMdu

I've just published an article discussing the Brora Iris, a 50-year-old Scotch that set a new record at £400,000. This historic whisky, from the notable 1972 casks, represents a unique intersection of whisky craftsmanship and art. The sale not only broke records but also highlighted the evolving relationship between luxury spirits and artistic expression. The article offers insights into this remarkable event and its significance in the whisky world.

New arrivals in the office!
Which would you choose? I've always been a fan of the Easter Elchies bottles but I also love the David Holmes designed Jubilee and Coronation bottles.
