🙏 Why do we do Panchanga Shravana at all?

Not to be scared. Not to be fatalistic. The rishis understood something we have forgotten - collective life has rhythms . The cosmos doesn't just affect you individually, it sets the backdrop against which all of us live together.

Panchanga Shravana is the tradition of conscious participation in time. You listen to what the year holds, not so you can avoid it, but so you can navigate it with awareness.

Jupiter as king this year means dharma will be protected if you align with it. Parabhava as the name means, those who surrender false ego find strength. Those who don't find defeat.

The ancient counsel for a Parabhava year is simple:
— Let your work speak for itself
— Serve more than you demand
— Build quietly, not loudly
— Deepen your practice

The cosmos rewards exactly that this year. And punishes the opposite.

🪔 Parabhava Samvatsara (March 19, 2026 – April 2027)
First, the name itself -
Parabhava = defeat of the ego. Dissolution of false identity

Classical texts say: "Parābhavas tāvad abodha-jāto yāvan na jijñāsata ātma-tattvam"
"One remains defeated so long as they do not seek to understand the true nature of the Self."
This year falls under final preservation group under Vishnu in the 60-year cycle. The 40th year. The theme is not destruction, it's transformation through humility.

Those who work with ego face setbacks. Those who work with a service and dharma mindset receive unexpected recognition .

The key principle is simple but elegant - each portfolio is assigned based on the weekday lord (vara lord) at the moment the Sun enters a specific sign or nakshatra during the year.

A wise, benefic planet as Head of State means a dharmic year. A malefic means conflict and division.

Last year's cabinet was dominated by malefics. The jyotishis saw that on Ugadi day 2025 and made very specific predictions.

📜 What is Panchanga Shravana?

The word means "listening to the Panchanga." On Ugadi day, a trained jyotishi reads the almanac for the entire year: predictions for rain, crops, health, economy , politics , war , and peace.


This is not jyothishya in the horoscope-column sense. This is mundane astrology: forecasting for the collective. For cities. For nations. For the world.

The tradition goes back to greats like Varahamihira, who is documented to have presented his Panchanga Shravanam to the king on every Chaitra Shukla Pratipada. Same day. Same system. We will be doing it now! And it still works. I'll show you why.
