Polaris is proud to welcome Jayesh Golatkar as a visiting faculty for Applied AI.

Here's what makes it more special - Jayesh spent over five years as a Software Development Manager at Amazon, leading engineering teams at one of the most technically demanding organisations in the world. Before that, he was AVP of Product Development at Deloitte India and spent over seven years at SAP BusinessObjects in Paris leading cross-site engineering, driving integration between the SAP and BusinessObjects ecosystems, and becoming a certified Product Standard Expert responsible for signing off product quality across multiple programmes. He started building and leading teams in 1999. He hasn't stopped since.

Today he's Co-Founder and CTO at Chitragupta Urban Tech, working at the intersection of Computer Vision, Machine Learning and applied AI in the real world.

And this year, he's walking into a Polaris classroom.

India graduates nearly 15 lakh engineers every year. Most spend four years chasing a shot at Google, Amazon or Microsoft. Polaris flipped that model - instead of preparing students to get noticed by big tech, we brought big tech into the classroom.

Google, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft aren't placement partners at Polaris. They're education partners - shaping curriculum, providing cloud infrastructure, and funding certifications from day one.

The results speak for themselves:

👉18 Polaris students selected for Google Summer of Code 2026 - a program that accepted just 4.9% of applicants globally
👉13 students selected into the Linux Foundation's LFX Mentorship Programme
👉Students have interned and contributed across 11 countries, many from their very first year
👉The highest stipend record yet in 2026 - ₹5.7 lakh

Many of these students are first-generation technologists, from small towns, with no prior family exposure to the tech industry.

But our CEO Mukul Rustagi put it - India has never had a talent problem, the gap has always been how fast education keeps pace with technology.
