Just visited one of the most legendary skate spots in California — the Mt. Baldy Pipeline. 🛹🔥
This 15-foot, 200-yard full pipe has been a pilgrimage spot since the 1970s. Tony Hawk, Andrew Reynolds, Greyson Fletcher — the greats have all been here. And today, I got to experience it firsthand.

Tucked into a quiet residential neighborhood at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains, Rubel Castle is one of the most underrated hidden gems in all of Southern California — and most people drive right past it.

This wasn't built by a king or a corporation. Michael Clarke Rubel was just 18 years old when he bought an old packing house near Route 66 and started building the castle he'd dreamed about as a kid. Over the next 26 years, he and hundreds of volunteers hauled river rock, recycled glass bottles, and salvaged materials to construct towers, a drawbridge, a blacksmith forge, underground dungeons, and a 65-foot tower with a 3,200-pound brass bell.

I reached out to Skull Canyon in Corona and asked if they wanted to work together. They said yes.

I’m getting two free tickets to experience whatever I want there, and I’m gonna film it for you guys. That’s the kind of thing that happens when you just ask.

If you haven’t been to Skull Canyon, it’s 160 acres of ziplines, suspension bridges, rappels — courses for beginners all the way to people who actually know what they’re doing. They’ve got different adventure options depending on what you’re into. It’s a solid spot and it’s right here locally.
