Guys, I have something to share. My father asked this man, he is a well-known regional champion before, around his 50s but still incredibly strong to play OTB chess against me. First, I played someone connected to him, and won both games the first one is not easy I sacrificed a lot of pawns which is not a good sacrifice. Then next is that old guy, we went back and forth: I won, then lost, then won again, then lost again, followed by two straight wins. My last match was against the first opponent which i won.
What Iām most proud of: I pulled off lots of sacrifices and brilliant moves. I gave up materials and I can't even think about it online which is a good plan. At first I felt nervous, but once we kept playing, I got completely in the zone. I rarely play OTB, there was no clock, and I tend to play fast ā sometimes it felt a little slow or boring but overall it was an amazing experience. I learned a lot: I need to work on my social skills, and I realized my own emotions are often what cost me wins.
(This pic is the position i remembered but i didn't take his bishop till the end)
Today's livestream is so fun hahahahahahahah i keep getting nervous when many people are watching, but i will try to improve and I'm sorry if I cannot communicate well that's what I'm trying to focus too. Thank you btw š¤š
