Fierce Faerie Vlogs

💫 LIFE LATELY — Raw, unfiltered, and full of unexpected turns.

Here is a post explaining my two weeks off and why I am excited to get back on track! SO much content to come on this channel and my gaming channel  @FierceFaerieGaming 🤗 Thank you guys so much for being along with me on my journey this far and for being a part of the Fierce Faerie community! Huge thanks to one and all getting me to 100 subscribers 🙌 🙏 Now let's get into it....

Starting March was a whirlwind. After my colon cancer surgery on Feb 28th, I had more treatments and appointments for the first two weeks of March. I even turned down a laparoscopy on surgery day that I planned on. I was oh so looking forward to removing the endometriosis lesions, nodules, etc. My husband and I didn't have a good feeling about signing away my reproductive organs for removal, though, so we said no.

This surgeon said that if he sees aggressive endometriosis like I've been scanned to have on MRIs, then he wants to treat it aggressively, removing everything. Which would have included a complete hysterectomy. I am still fertile last we checked, and I just birthed a healthy baby boy in January 2024. That didn't sit right with me to remove everything. I was not ready to wake up knowing I would never be able to even try for children again. That rejection decision may have changed everything as you will soon find out.

April 2025 marks when I ended my breastfeeding journey with my first born at 14 months. I think this ending may have hit me the hardest because I dried up, and I knew there was nothing I could do anymore. It was my time to end this journey.

During my breastfeeding journey, 9 months of those were exclusively breastfeeding, even through NICU for the first month and getting rediagnosed with colon cancer at 4mo postpartum. At 9 months, my milk supply began dipping after my second surgery and third treatment, so we began supplementing with formula. My body was a just enough milk producer, and my body couldn't anymore. Shortly after my last appointment and treatment, I hit complete burnout.

Then, on April 1st, I *won* my court case. It felt like a massive weight lifted knowing I do not owe a ton of money. Long story short, when I was homeless in 2023 and pregnant with our first son, Xavier, I applied for SNAP benefits. Years later, I received notice I was not due those benefits, I appealed that notice, and began a court case. Court determined that I do not owe money due to my worker at the times' errors in reporting and sufficient evidence of me having submitted and reported continuously to the point of emails begging my worker to please help. Thankfully, that was finalized and put to rest after years.

May rolled around. We did pre-op testing at the end of April, with blood work getting sent to Mayo Clinic. The following week, as we were getting ready to head back to Rochester, MN, for the next cancer treatment came something I never expected…

I received a call saying there are some blood test abnormalities. One of which is pregnancy, and we need to postpone treatments. I still can hardly believe I found out I was pregnant! After 3 surgeries and 7 treatments in a year, here comes our second child. In my lifetime, I have now had 24 surgeries, 32 treatments, and 5 miscarriages. We have our beautiful, energetic, joyous 16-month Xavier, and today I’m 15 weeks as I'm writing this. I am due in late November or early December. And yes, I *still* have cancer that will resume treatments next year. But this baby… this baby is a miracle.

Here's to baby number 2 and two under two with cancer. 🥳🙌

All the positivity and healing to one and all. For those who wish, sprinkling all the baby dust ✨️ Remember to love yourself and meet yourself where you're currently at. You matter oh so much and make such a difference in this world. 🫶

Thank you for following my journey. This is Part 1. Part 2 is the pregnancy reveal. 💛#LifeUpdate #MomLife #MiracleBaby #HealingJourney #ColonCancer
