🌸 From a handful of dahlia plants to dozens more blooms... 🌸
Earlier this week I shared a reel showing the propagation process, but I thought I'd share a closer look through photos.
Last fall, these dahlia tubers were carefully dug, divided, and tucked away for their winter rest. A few weeks ago they came out of storage and moved under grow lights, where they quickly sprang back to life.
With the rainy weather over the holiday weekend, it was the perfect opportunity to take cuttings and start the next generation of plants. 🌱
Each cutting has the potential to become a full dahlia plant, producing armloads of flowers later this summer.
Gardening is such a wonderful reminder that beautiful things often start small and require a little patience along the way. 💐
