Hymn & Human

🌿 NEW RELEASE 🌿

“She Laughs Again” is now live.

The newest chapter in our Inspiring Women of Scripture series tells the story of Sarah—a woman who left home in faith, waited through years of uncertainty, wrestled with doubt, and discovered that God’s promises are never bound by our timelines.

Her story isn’t just about becoming a mother.

It’s about becoming the woman God was shaping her to be.

If you’ve ever wondered whether you’ve missed your chance…
If you’ve ever felt forgotten…
If you’ve ever waited longer than you thought you could…

This song is for you.

“Is anything too hard for the LORD?” — Genesis 18:14

✨ You are not too late.
✨ You are not forgotten.
✨ You are still becoming.

I hope this song encourages you as much as Sarah’s story has encouraged me.

🎧 Listen now on Hymn & Human, and if it resonates with you, consider sharing it with someone who needs a reminder that their story isn’t over.

💛 Question for you:
Which woman of Scripture has inspired your faith the most, and why?

Hymn & Human

🎵 NEW TEACHING SONG PREMIERE 🎵

“Just Say the Word” is now live.

📖 Matthew 8:5–13

This is the next chapter in Following Jesus’ Way Through Jesus’ Words.

After healing the leper, Jesus is approached by someone no one expected to become the hero of the story…

A Roman centurion.

A soldier.

An outsider.

An enemy of Israel.

Yet Jesus says something astonishing:

“Truly I tell you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.”

Why?

Because the centurion understood something many of us still struggle to believe:

Jesus’ word is enough.

He didn’t ask Jesus to perform a spectacle.

He didn’t ask Him to prove His power.

He simply said:

“Only say the word…”

As I studied the Greek for this passage, one thing became impossible to ignore:

The leper trusted a touch.

The centurion trusted a word.

Both discovered the same Love.

I hope this song helps you hear this story with fresh ears and see the wideness of God’s kingdom through Jesus’ own words.

Hymn & Human

❤️ NEW SONG PREMIERE ❤️

“I Am Willing” is now live.

This song follows one of my favorite moments in the life of Jesus:

📖 Matthew 8:1–4

After coming down from the mountain, Jesus is approached by a man everyone else avoided—a man called a leper.

The man doesn’t ask…

“Can You?”

He asks…

“Lord, if You are willing…”

And Jesus answers with words that still echo today:

“I am willing. Be made clean.”

As a registered nurse, this story has always meant a great deal to me. Long before there was a miracle, there was a touch. Jesus saw the person before the diagnosis. He restored dignity before He restored status.

That is the heart of this song.

This is the newest release in the Following Jesus’ Way Through Jesus’ Words series, where we’re walking through the life and teachings of Jesus one passage at a time and letting Scripture shape the music.

Hymn & Human

☀️ NEW RELEASE! 🌙✨

SKY SAID SHINE is here.

Day 4 of the Bangers for the Creator series has officially arrived.

This song is inspired by Genesis 1:14–19—the moment the Creator filled the heavens with the sun, moon, and stars.

I wanted to imagine what creation itself might have sounded like when it answered God’s command.

Its answer?

SHINE.

This has become one of my favorite videos I’ve ever created. Between the music, the visuals, and the journey through oceans of light, stars, and cosmic waves, I think it captures a little of the awe Genesis invites us into.

If it encourages you:

☀️ Watch the full video.
⭐ Leave a comment with your favorite lyric.
🌙 Share it with someone who loves Scripture, worship, or beautiful visuals.
❤️ And if you’re enjoying this journey, I’d love for you to subscribe to Hymn & Human as we continue through all seven days of creation.

Thank you all for being part of this adventure.

The Creator called…

And the sky said—SHINE. ✨

Hymn & Human

This song has been living in my heart ever since I watched Christspiracy, the documentary by Kip Andersen and Kameron Waters. Whether you ultimately agree with every conclusion in the film or not, it left me with a question that I simply couldn’t shake. (christspiracy.com)

The question became a song.

“How Would Jesus Kill a Little Lamb?”

This isn’t a protest song.
It isn’t an accusation.
It isn’t me telling anyone what to believe.

It’s me wrestling.

Growing up, I was taught to ask, “What would Jesus do?” But one day another question quietly emerged:

How would Jesus kill a little lamb?

The more I sat with that question, the more it challenged me—not just about what I eat, but about compassion, consistency, and what it really means to follow the teachings of Jesus.

I’m still learning.
I’m still asking.
I’m still listening.

My hope isn’t to win an argument.
My hope is to invite an honest conversation.

If this song causes you to pause, reflect, or ask deeper questions about love, mercy, and the way we treat the creatures who share this world with us, then it has already done what I hoped it would.

🎬 Premiering soon on Hymn & Human.

I’d love to hear your thoughts—with kindness, curiosity, and respect for one another.

Hymn & Human

Do you have an Elizabeth in your life?

❤️ A mom.
❤️ A grandmother.
❤️ A daughter.
❤️ A wife.
❤️ A friend.

Someone who’s waited.
Someone who’s prayed.
Someone who’s stayed faithful when the answer seemed slow to come.

We wrote a song inspired by Elizabeth from Luke 1 and the reminder that:

“Not forgotten.
Not forsaken.
Not abandoned.
Not mistaken.”

God remembers His people.

If you know an Elizabeth, send this to her today.

🌌 THE HEAVENS DECLARE 🌌
Genesis 1:6–8 | Bangers for the Creator #2

What if we could witness the moment the heavens were formed?

Not millions of years later.
Not through a telescope.
Not through imagination alone.

What if we stood at the edge of the waters and watched creation unfold?

This new video is our attempt to bring Genesis 1:6–8 to life through music, art, and worship.

⚡ Massive anthem energy
🌊 Waters above and waters below
☁️ The creation of the heavens
