Being at Pearl Harbor really made me stop and think.
Seeing the names of the men who lost their lives on the USS Arizona was a powerful reminder that freedom is never free.
This Memorial Day, I’m remembering the men and women who gave their lives serving this country.
As a German living in America, I don’t take that sacrifice or the freedom here for granted. I’m incredibly grateful for this country and for the opportunity to live here.

Thank you so much for all your support. Over the last few weeks, this channel has grown to almost 5,000 subscribers just a few months ago I was only at a couple of hundred. That honestly wouldn’t have been possible without every single one of you watching, commenting, and sharing. 🙏

Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄
This was my first real Christmas here in sunny Florida ☀️🌴 and it felt even more special because my parents and my sister came to visit. My mom made her famous roasted pork for the whole family… and yes, it was insane 🤤🇩🇪

I get that not everyone agrees with the things I say about living in the US, and that’s totally fine. We all come from different places and see life differently.
I’m just sharing what my day-to-day here feels like as a German who moved to America. Some people relate to it, some don’t and that’s the whole point of having a conversation.
