Hey everyone, just a quick update today... I try to avoid mixing my personal and (very loosely) 'professional' lives, but I'd like to be transparent here and say I've had something come up in my personal life. Because of this, I'll be taking a few days break (maybe more - I'm unsure at the moment) from working on the K-Pop Demon Hunters video.

I'll post further updates if anything changes, but thanks for your patience and understanding in the meantime.

The script for my K-Pop Demon Hunters video is nearing completion at an astounding 14,500 words! But first... The film has now officially become Netflix's most popular movie, surpassing 236 million views (insane)!

To celebrate, I've 3D modelled the Saja Boys lightstick as seen in the movie which I'm super happy with! And there might even be a HUNTR/X one already complete too... I'll save that for another post though. Might use them as part of a credits sequence or maybe not... I already have an idea of what it would look like, but I guess we'll see once editing starts.

Anyway, yes, the script is incredibly long... Up next: finalising/polishing the script (should be done over the coming days). Then it's recording and lots and lots and lots of editing! I'll probably do a poll soon to see if you'd like another edit in the meantime just so I can break up the long form editing and to tie you all over since the wait has been so much longer than I thought.

K-POP DEMON HUNTERS ANALYSIS VIDEO UPDATE!

Really quick for the poll though - at the end of the video would you like a small section (like one/two minutes) that's more personal rather than strictly analysis? I haven't done something like this before outside of a few little bits subtly added throughout some of my longer videos, so I'm curious if you'd like a little paragraph dedicated to that!

Anywayyy, heya everyone! It's been a bit and I wanted to let you know where the video is at in terms of production and when it'll be done, etc. I think I should start with a small apology on being so quiet about it the last several weeks... I greatly appreciate everyone who's showed interest in this video and I think think I owe you the respect to know it's still happening - which it very much is!!

I've really enjoyed the process so far. As I mentioned in my last post, I thought this was going to be a reasonable video around 20 minutes, then realised it was going to be closer to 50... And now, well... I think it's going to be somewhere around 80! I really want to thank everyone who voted on that last post because it made me comfortable to keep writing everything I had in my mind without feeling I needed to wrap it up in some quick way.

Like I've said, I've found it really fun to write about. I'm still going and I'm almost there - I'm hoping to have the script finalised and ready for recording by the middle of next week which is super exciting to think about!!

Please help me decide how long my video should be!! As I shared last week, I'm doing a full length K-Pop Demon Hunters analysis video!
Originally, I thought it would be around 20 minutes, but looking at where my script is, it might be more like 50 (omg)... So, I'd love to know how long you'd like to watch for because it's a lot easier to change the length now rather than during editing :0

Thank you all so much for the recent support on the two Zoey edits I've done for K-Pop Demon Hunters! You've helped me surge past 5000 subscribers which is absolutely crazy! And not to mention, given me two of my best performing videos! A combined 370,000 views is genuinely unbelievable and I truly cannot thank you enough. Never did I even think 10,000 was going to be an option and here we are!

It is so awesome to check back on the channel every couple hours and reply to all of your comments and see how many of you love the characters as much as I do. I'm honestly so happy that it's reached the people it has and I've been able to share my love for the great piece of film that KPDH it is!

For videos coming up next: I'm writing a long-form video on the movie (and it's going to be a long one lol) which I'm desperately hoping to get out in the next week or two! But with all the support on the edits... It seems as though I might be prioritising another edit first. You guys voted for an edit on Rumi following this second Zoey edit, so I'll be starting work on that very soon in just a couple days!

Massive welcome to everyone new to the channel and thank you for the support on the last two videos! It's crazy to see the channel performing at these levels again - I honestly never thought it would happen. I'm so glad to have some more Miraculous fans on board and I hope all of you are enjoying season six so far!
As for everyone else wondering what's happened to the usual style of videos... I promise they're not going anywhere!

I have no plans to shift away from analysis videos as they are now the core of this channel and what I love to make. However, I won't deny the ease of some other kinds of videos as these provide a much more proportional reward to the amount of time they take. These might be used as filler between the main analysis videos, but it's all still very new to me, so we'll see how it ends up working out :)
But again, the analysis videos WILL still continue! (Have plenty of plans just waiting to brought to fruition!)

Huge thank you again for the support recently, we absolutely blew past 900,000 total channel views this last week from a bit over 800,000. And of course to all the new subscribers :)
