In ministry, challenges and difficult attitudes from others are inevitable, but true leadership is exercised by being led by the Holy Spirit. Do not react in anger or frustration; instead, practice self-control, patience, and love, aiming to please God rather than men. Discern when to endure quietly and when loving correction or wise action is necessary to protect the team and the assignment.
Genuine love, humility, and spiritual guidance lighten the burdens of leadership, preserve unity, and reflect Christ, for ministry is not about winning arguments but about walking in the Spirit and letting God’s character shine through your leadership.

THE VALUE OF RELATIONSHIP:AGENTS OF ENHANCEMENT | By Henry Terna Ayede
God transforms people through relationships. However, not all relationships are beneficial; some can be harmful and even destructive. Therefore, it is vital that we yield to the Holy Spirit for discernment in building the right connections.
We are called into diverse areas of ministry, and the fulfillment of these callings is intricately linked to godly relationships. According to Ephesians 4:12–13, the fivefold ministry exists for the equipping of the saints, for the work of ministry, and for the edification of the Body of Christ. As we mature spiritually, "iron sharpens iron", and the Body aligns more perfectly with the Head, which is Christ, enabling us to walk in the fullness of God.
There are two kingdoms actively operating in the world: the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. Both require human vessels to function. God does nothing on earth without involving men. Likewise, the enemy seeks people through whom he can execute his agenda. The authority that man lost through Adam’s fall was restored through salvation. When a person is born again, their relationship with God is reestablished, and their spiritual authority is reinstated.
Godly relationships are meant to be profitable, not necessarily in material or financial terms, but spiritually, emotionally, and purposefully. Relationships are never intended to be toxic, manipulative, or draining. When relationships are led by the Spirit, they nurture growth, foster accountability, and strengthen purpose.
Ephesians 4:12–13 clearly reveals that God desires His Church to operate in maturity and unity. This is only possible through an intimate relationship with Him and with others who reflect His heart and truth.
Every relationship in a believer’s life should begin with Christ at the center. What we receive from Him, grace, love, wisdom, we are called to extend to others. Our horizontal relationships should mirror our vertical relationship with God. When this divine alignment is present, our lives become vessels for kingdom impact.
Ministry is both relationship and service. When our motives are pure, our hearts fixed on Christ, and we are led by the Holy Spirit, relationships flow naturally, effectively, harmoniously, and fruitfully.
Romans 8:14 states: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”
Mature believers are sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. They cultivate relationships with discernment, patience, and wisdom, traits that foster enduring and impactful connections.
It is important to understand that both the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness require human participation. Wherever the power of either kingdom is manifested, a human vessel is involved. God uses men. Satan, too, uses men.
Let every relationship in your life reflect your relationship with God. Be an agent of enhancement, building others, advancing the Kingdom, and allowing your life to be a channel of divine purpose.
