I’ll be diving into news, our nervous system, and the narratives that shape our lives — from personal survival stories to social commentary, media analysis, and the messy truth of becoming. That realization opened up a much bigger conversation for me about safety, trust, and something I’m starting to question deeply…
…the idea that men are here to protect us.

Y’all! I just posted my 50th episode with 50 lessons in my 50th year! 🎉 (my 50th bday is at the end of the year)
Not a single one of these I learned through doing things the “right way” 😩 most of it was through heartbreak & survival mode & CHOOSING to grow + evolve through trauma.
As trauma survivor, who grew up in purity culture I had to UNLEARN everything I was taught about sex, healing, and what it means to be a woman. And now as a divorced, Black woman, single Mom starting almost everything over.
So in this episode, I decided to say it all out loud:
50 lessons I’ve learned about sex, healing, and survival.
Some of them are low hanging fruit, some of them are uncomfortable.
Some of them… I really needed to know learn decades ago. 😩
If you’ve ever felt like:
– you’re still figuring yourself out
– you’re healing but still struggling
– you’re learning things MUCH later in life that nobody prepared you for
