What made me start doing music?


I was inspired by Nathi, sis Adrian, Isaac, Madala and George. First time I saw them doing an outdoor concert remake songs, I was blown away. Because I've always had a deep passion for music.

I remember recording in my grandma’s dining room — people I didn’t even know would pull up just to make music. All we had was a cheap mic, I don't know where Simon Chabane got it from, and honestly, I didn’t care about the quality. I just wanted to create. And honestly that music didn't go anywhere, because it wasn't that good.


Over time, I developed a good ear for music across different genres. Music speaks to people in so many ways — whether you’re sad or happy, it finds a way to reach your heart.


I understand that not everyone will love what I put out, and that’s okay. I don’t love every song out there either; we all pick what connects with us. So I’ll never hate or blame anyone for not liking my music. I just love what I do and I’ll keep writing. Whoever connects with it will enjoy it.


Take this journey with me and see where God leads us. The music I make is faith-based, and it comes straight from the heart.
