While years go by and seasons change, God remains constant!
Whatever our plans for this year may be, let us make sure God is at the center of those plans and that we're building on the solid foundation of His Word. Anything that we plan to do apart from that has no guarantee of success!

Jesus reigns as King of all kings and Lord of all lords. He has conquered death, hell and the grave, once and for all... and has provided for us a way back to the Father so that we can now have a relationship with Him.
Because He rose, we can now be raised to new life for if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away, and BEHOLD, all things have become new. Our outlook on life changes because we now live in hope, love, peace and joy. We are no longer bound to sin, no longer slaves to a sinful nature, but are now free to live as we ought to live... free to walk in victory and live the abundant life... abundant in the things that money can't buy... life, health, strength, help, wisdom, knowledge, grace, mercy, favor, righteousness, peace, joy, contentment, compassion, tolerance, goodness, faith, faithfulness, self-control, discipline, and all the virtues of a godly life. Christ's death and subsequent resurrection provided all of this and more for us. He has provided for us everything that pertains to life and godliness. We have everything that we need to live a full life... one of purpose and destiny... one of truth and power... one of faith and gratitude.
On this Resurrection Sunday, let us remember all that His death and resurrection provided for us and be intentional in our gratitude to Him for the tremendous sacrifice He made because of the joy that was set before Him. What was that joy? That He would be providing the way for us to be joined again to the Father so that we could live the abundant life and be restored to the original intent and purpose for which we were created.
