Android 86 Project

I have a new Android 86 song coming out this Friday called Working the Pivot.

It is a fast, angry rap-metal / alt-metal track about politics, power, ego, pressure, and the machine that slowly teaches people how to become useful.

The song was inspired by the idea that some people enter politics with real goals and real purpose, only to find themselves inside a system designed to flatter them, isolate them, pressure them, and rearrange them.

The praise starts.
The meetings start.
The compromises start.
The machine starts smiling.

Maybe it does not need to destroy everyone who enters it.

Maybe it just needs to make them useful.

I wrote a blog about the ridiculous panic spiral behind “Cold Metal Memory.”

No ancient system event. No corrupted tower. No cosmic horror hiding behind the curtain.

Just me losing my keys again.

This one is about ADHD, stress, the mental collapse that happens when you are already late, everyone is waiting, and the thing you JUST had in your hand has somehow disappeared into another dimension.

So naturally, I turned that feeling into fast industrial metal.

There’s a strange story about a girl named Katherine Wells, a hidden world beneath the earth, and the giants who supposedly chose to disappear rather than live beside us.

Is it folklore? Creative writing disguised as history? A conspiracy rabbit hole? I honestly don’t know, but it had exactly the kind of mystery I love building Android 86 songs around.

My new track “Among the Tall Ones She Walked” was inspired by that story: a gothic metal retelling of a little girl, a giantess, and a secret world that may or may not have ever existed.
