Throughout Scripture, I realized no one stepped fully into purpose without first passing through seasons of isolation, testing, and deep dependence on God. Israel encountered God in the wilderness, not in Egypt. Moses met Him there. Jesus Himself was led by the Spirit into the wilderness before His ministry began.

The wilderness is where God gently removes what we lean on, so we learn to lean on Him alone. It is uncomfortable because it reveals the heart. In that place, prayers become honest and faith stops being borrowed and becomes personal.

In the wilderness, God may not explain His ways, but He reveals His faithfulness. He provides daily, not in excess, so trust can grow.

So, don't rush to escape the wilderness. Stay grounded. Stay listening. Stay faithful. When God brings you out, you will carry more than a testimony, you will carry discernment and a deeper walk with Him.

Throughout Scripture, the wilderness is not a place of abandonment, but a place of preparation.

God led Israel into the wilderness before the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 8:2), not to destroy them, but to test them, and to know what was in their hearts. The wilderness reveals what prosperity often hides.

In the wilderness, God removes human support so that His voice becomes clear. Israel had no farms, no rivers, no armies, only God. Daily manna taught them dependence (Exodus 16:4), and the pillar of cloud and fire reminded them that even in barrenness, God was present and guiding.

If you find yourself in a wilderness season right now, be encouraged. God has not stepped away, He is right there with you🫂
