How is the Halloween Splatfest treating you guys? I picked Team Ghost and I've only been fighting against team ghost, which makes sense considering how cool it would be to have a ghost best friend. What team did you pick?

No spoilers, but did you guys enjoy the graphical update and Star Crossed world? I haven't seen any of it. I'm about to play it soon, but I don't know if I wanted to start the whole game over to experience all of it at once or start from my finished file because I'm excited to try it.
Might be a common sense question, but when you go through a pokemon game for the first time, do you use pokemon that you like (and sometimes choose not to evolve them) or do you catch whatever is new / that you haven't used before? Or do you look up evolutions beforehand and carefully craft a team of 6 to run through the game with?
