#ad Stereotypes about OCD make it seem like it's all about being organized. But real OCD is very different, and many of its signs are subtle, easily overlooked, or misunderstood.

Sometimes OCD looks like constantly being stuck on the worst-case scenario. You might find yourself thinking: “This headache is a brain tumor.” Or, “What if I’m a terrible person?” Other times, it looks like constantly needing certainty or reassurance, and analyzing your decisions over and over. You might ruminate on thoughts like, "Do I really love him?” Or, "Am I happy at this job?"
