It's been a minute since I've posted here. I've given myself a goal of posting a video once a week and I've been on a pretty good run! No shortage of content here, that's for sure. I've got a backlog of adventures I've been editing and next up is a mtb vid from our recent trip to Washington and Oregon.
Sadly I went over the bars AGAIN! and this time fractured my left wrist, and guess what? I'm left handed! ooof!
I've done a few rides after my crash since Urgent Care said it was just a bad sprain, but got a second x-ray, and surprise!
Not that I'm known for "sending it" but there will be a little less 'send' than normal, but a few amazing trails to show you. And, yes, I'll show you my crash in slowmo...as you may have guessed, I did have my GoPro on. 🤪

When so much of our life is online, it's fun to meet up IRL with friends that you've meet on YouTube. Bryan and April aka Magellan and Greyhound, reached out when they were coming to California and wanted to do a mountain bike ride near Malibu. I'm so glad we were able to make it happen! If you're ever looking for an fun, easy mountain bike ride in Malibu Creek State Park, I just posted ours. I'm glad they were up for the adventure and are a little goofy like me. 🤪

What's up with the Sony videos? I know... not really focused on adventures but this camera is my tool of choice and honestly, I was procrastinating on editing my next adventure vid, the Valley of Fire State Park. I didn't really label it my red rock road trip, but that's kind of what it was. So next up is another amazing place to visit. Stay tuned!

The Wave Update - I was so excited to share the Wave with everyone that I didn't have my usual friends review...and they pointed out a minor issue, probably not even noticed by most, but I wanted to fix it. Unfortunately with YouTube you can't replace a video file, but have to upload a new one... So It's now up (again) as the new and improved video. If you didn't have a chance to watch it before, good! this version is way better. Thanks for following along on these adventures, I hope they inspire you to get out and explore your world.

As promised back to adventures! We went to Bryce last February and I've gotten in the habit of finishing a travel video before my next trip, which is today! We are heading to Zion for the long weekend! But back to Bryce. If you haven't made plans for the President's long weekend, this is a great place to visit. The park is empty! Not everything is open, but you can still hike and explore. It is cold, but so beautiful. Happy travels.

Happy 2022 adventure fam! I'll be getting back to the outdoor fun content soon, I have a long list of videos to edit this month, but took a slight detour to learn my new camera. This month I'm heading back to Zion National Park with my daughter to hike Angels Landing again. Stay tuned for a video on that. We will be skipping the Narrows this trip since the forecast says snow and a high of 40ies. I love the snow... but snow and water... pass...

I've been working on an interview of a 78-year-old triathlete. I'm still waiting on approval to use a couple of short clips from official Ironman. I sure hope they say yes! It's such a great story.
