Turns out old iPhones are surprisingly competitive as dedicated point-and-shoot cameras.

Sure, you miss out on things like a viewfinder, removable storage, optical zoom, and a few other “real camera” features. But if you’re looking for an ultra budget point-and-shoot, an old iPhone might actually be worth checking out. (even if it’s just for the nostalgia)

I converted this $50 brandless scamera into an interchangeable lens mirrorless camera, and I’m actually shocked by the results!

It’s still very quirky and probably not worth doing, but the quality difference from the original photos is insane.
