Heyo! Some unfortunate new to share, TLDR at bottom, Youtube flipped a switch a few weeks ago that has drastically hurt livestreaming across the entire platform. I spoke with their support team only for them to tell me I've been view botted for a year and a half, and they refused to look into it. Which I find hard to believe when every youtube livestreaming creator I've spoken with can see a solid drop in viewership (almost 80%) on the exact same date about 3 weeks ago. I went from averaging ~5,500 viewers to now I average ~600.

But to make it more annoying, livestreams seem to be really negatively impacting videos and shorts. I have multiple videos i can reference and can see the minute a livestream started the other video / short hard stops in it's track and momentum is killed, even after the stream is over the video is still negatively impacted. Which is why I've been only streaming on Twitch these last few Fridays. I have done a few tests and found that unlisting the streams seems to help repair the damage done to the videos.

Which brings me to the change that will effect those of you who watch VODs for livestreams. Unfortunately I have to unlist them on the main channel to keep the channel healthy, so I will be now uploading them to my second channel fWhipTwo within a day of the actual stream. The original URL of the livestream will still work if you have it, but otherwise drop a sub on fWhipTwo if you want to watch VODs!

TLDR: livestreams will be unlisted on main, reuploading to fWhipTwo moving forward.

I've been sick for the last week or so. Starting to feel much better but unfortunately not at 100% yet so going to be skipping stream again today. Hoping to be back on Wednesday! Really itching to get back to streaming and recording as I don't sit still well at all..
