𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲!
Seven years ago today, on June 30, 2019, I was entrusted with the privilege of serving as President of the National College of Naprapathic Medicine... now NCNM University. When I accepted this responsibility, I did not inherit a finished institution. I inherited a responsibility, a vision and the opportunity to help rebuild, reimagine and reposition the oldest institution in #NaprapathicMedicine.

At the time, many believed the vision was too ambitious. Some questioned whether we could survive. Others believed becoming a university was impossible. There were even those who suggested I hand the responsibility to someone else.

Instead, we kept building.

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗴𝗼’𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗽 and see more than an office. I see the result of perseverance, faith, sacrifice and countless hours of work shared by people who believed in the mission. During these seven years, we have transformed from a single-program institution into a university with multiple active academic programs, renewed opportunities for students and a vision that continues to expand.

𝗡𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻. It happened because Board members, faculty, staff, volunteers, students, graduates, alumni, donors, supporters, colleagues, family, and friends believed that our institution deserved another chapter.

𝗧𝗼 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂. Your encouragement, your service, your patience, your prayers, your ideas and your belief have carried this institution through moments that many thought it would never overcome.

This journey has also shaped me personally. Many of the lessons I’ve learned rebuilding this institution have become part of the foundation for my work with Blue Stone Capital Group and my book, Start Smart: Your Business Blueprint. The principles of resilience, strategic planning, perseverance and building sustainable systems were not learned from theory—they were lived.

As we celebrate seven years, I know our work is far from finished.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗖𝗡𝗠 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲.
